Yeah but I would say that Kobe has actually hurt his teams at times by thinking he has to do it all himself. Kobe is real good when he is on, but he tends to be selfish with the ball. He is now passing the ball more since he is limited with injuries.

Definitely! He's my pick. I love basketball but I've never been able to recapture the excitement of the 90s.. Except for the heat in 06 when wade refused to lose and he gave them their first championship. That reminded me of the 90s. :)

Maybe just one lung, you will need to breath with all the excitement during the death match.

Koby to me was better with Shaq. They had to double team shaq so he had more space to do his thing.

Wade is my favorite player and I remember that when for the first time a single player literally will his team to a championship.

I used to think that back in middle school, but in high school, when I started playing basketball and during games where I was the best offensive minded player in the team, I would basically the same thing he does. I wasn't good at passing and was more of a one-on-one/two/three player. I felt more comfortable having the ball in my hand. I sort of knew that the chances of the team scoring in this play was higher with the ball with me rather than passing it around, looking for the chance to find an opening to score. So, I guess I kind of see why he does what he does.

Regardless, in one-on-ones, I'd go with Kobe. He observes too much and is tricky with his foundations and footworks.

I have to say Jordon for pure gifted talent and ability. But a fast second is Kobe with great talent and an unparalleled work ethic.

    Best bball player for what?
    1 game
    1 on one?
    Or for a franchise?

If I am building a franchise my choices are easy. Bird magic or lebron. All 3 where true leaders.

Bird turned around the Celtics almost over night. Lebron left cle and they lost 40 more games.

People forget when Jordan left bulls they still won 50+ games with Scottie pippen as a leader.

I think Jordan was great and clutch. Was he best all around bball player all time. No.

During the bulls run they had no great competition. No other truly dominant teams for them.

It was Celtics, Lakers, pistons during the 1980s. Bulls did not win until these 3 teams fell off due to age.

But Jordan was sure fun to watch. Gave you goosebumps.

But for me it has to be bird. That guy was slowest guy on the court but typically still most dominant. I remeber him in college vs magic. Bird took a nobody team of scruba to NCAA final
