Yeah, I haven't used it either, but it seems like a good thing to try once I have an opportunity to root my phone securily.

Haven't heard from Hover, just watched a video and loved it, but idk if it can be installed via xposed.

I root all my phones to use greenify and to adjust my screen density. Currently I'm using a Nexus 5 with modified DPI settings and it looks better than it does with default.

I originally started doing it just to get rid of the pre-installed bloatware and have more space for the stuff I actually use. Later.. somehow I just got hooked on cool , and started customizing at will.

Got addicted to the flexibility and freedom I guess.

Unlocked teathering, Roms and mods, root permissions for apps like sixaxis for ps3 controller to titanium backup, The list goes on. Rooting doesn't change the UI or firmware. So there is no need to worry about bugs, the bugs come with the custom Roms and nightly updates. CM, COUGH COUGH!! You can root without unlocking bootloader. So why wouldn't you root.
Does anyone know if framaroot works or if there is a equivalent?

The one thing that I like about iPhones over Android is that iPhones are very nice at utilizing Airplay.

I root my Android phones so I can get the same access. Root access allows me to use the Air Audio app which adds full Airplay to my device.

I also take advantage of Gravity Box in the Xposed Framework, so I can add extended desktop and pie controls to stock Android.

rooting was for me the only posibility to use my Desire HD to its fullest. Otherwise i had to deal with the whole bloatware and restrictions.
Up till now Root & ENG boot & S-OFF kept my phone usable up to CM11, else i would have get a new phone long ago (last official Version was 2.3.5)
