Best stock icon pack to remove white border? Dec 11, 2017

    I remember a time when icons where not round and the red YouTube icon looked sweet with all that contrast on AMOLED screens and dark theme but these round icons are killing the vibe, maaan.

    I'm on the open beta 19 and I've been looking for an icon pack that uses stock icons (example Google play music is the play button or Gmail is the envelope with "M", YouTube is the red rectangle) BUT I don't want the white border.

    Any recommendations?

    PS: notice the white border icons vs the red community icon

    Ill check all those out right now.

    I found a temp fix using "adapicons" (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.damianpiwowarski.adapticons)

    It creates a shortcut on your home screen (does not change system wide) and you can change color and map different images for different apps. Really neat way to customize your doc.

    Downside is since it is a shortcut you cannot press and hold for Oreo enabled shortcuts, and they are not changed system wide. Still, if you want to spice up ur home screen check it out.
