delete facebook app, use browser instead
delete facebook messenger, use browser instead
delete games that run in the background, deal with it
    give ART a try
    flash CM11 and Franco.Kernel r28
set maximum CPU Frequency to ~2Ghz (plenty)
delete anything else that cause a ridiculous amount of wakelocks like facebook and so on

If you are rooted install "Disable Service" and "App Quarantine" and disable all location based services with the first app, warning though: NOTHING will be able to locate your device then, GPS wont work, even not for the cm account dashboard i believe

with the second app you disable apps you dont use, but cant uninstall

done 5-6hours on screen time no problem, idle drain = 0,2%/hour / 8mA

Greenify Facebook and Facebook Messenger (denying awake and keep awake also helps)
Deny awake and keep awake for Google Play services
Unsync Google services you do not need such as Google Newsstand, etc.
Deny location for apps that ask for it a lot but do not use it, such as the Bleacher Report Team Stream app
Install Leandroid (disables mobile data and Wi-Fi for 60 min and re-enables for 60 sec to check for notifications) and combine with power save performance profile
Set apps that refresh in the background to never or for longer period of time than
Keep brightness at or below 50% unless when in direct sunlight

I was just being silly.... Here in the US, we have 110 for standard household current. a dryer in the laundry room runs on a 220 line. I did tech support many years ago for a large computer company. We had an inside joke that when stupid people call us, we were going to tell them to plug their computer into the 220 line to speed it up. Luckily the plug for a clothes dryer is WAY bigger than the standard 2 or 3 prong household plug, so it will not fit. I am sure it would disable whatever you plug in to it by feeding it 2x the voltage that it is expecting.

I think the battery life is pretty good as it is (every phone could need a better one but I last almost 2 days).

There are really good apps, my favourite one is a customised ultra power saving app where you can actually decide which apps you would like to use (similar to the Ultra Power Saving Mode on Galaxy S5)

Turn down screen brightness, turn off sync, location, wifi when not in use.

Use BetterBatteryStats to see what apps are using the most power and delete them.

Use Greenify to hybernate apps that hog battery.
