You can't blame this to Indian users only, it's OnePlus fault, they are on highest sale without doing this in India but now they making the OOS to Redmi's OS.
They still not giving the FM radio which is more demanding in India, I will agree with you that it is a Indian users fault if they launch a OnePlus phone with FM radio and a headphone Jack, they are just making money with bloatwares, blaming on Indian for the stupid Netflix app is ridiculous.
But Indian users are not that stupid, if they get everything like Redmi on higher price they will choose Redmi K20 Pro any day over OP7 or Pro.

Yes I can.... I have been here years and for a while OOS was the envy of most android users, good clean fast OS.. Then Indian sales went live and within a year things started to change, and this was the start of the death of OOS.... It's fact mate...

I have edited my post above, you can't blame Indian for that, they don't give a F about the Camera, I know you are here for long, you can see how many Indian users are not happy with the Camera, they want AI in camera, did you seen any improvement in camera, did you seen they introduce AI related features in camera, No because it's not a bloatware and no company is going to pay for this, like Netflix or tencent....
If they care about the Indian community the headphone jack would be here for sure.

They care about one part of the community hence why so much rubbish has been added, most of the world was extremely happy with things as was, and the OS has suffered along with our personal data security..
AI pfft it's for children I mean seriously?

If I remember correctly, most were against a pre-installed stub. It was Carl's thread. It didn't go well easily with the community members. (at least the active ones on the forum).
Netflix can give HD even without being a system app. Makiglng Netflix a system app is just part of the agreement I guess.

To correct this - it was about HDR and not HD. As far as I understand, without the preinstallation Netflix wouldn't whitelist the phone for the HDR feature. And also I think it's just a stub and not the full app.

I'm not saying you attacking, just saying you can't blame to a region for that,
Netflix subscription are very low in India, so for the crap of Netflix Indians are not guilty at all.

Well. I started using OnePlus only for the clean OS with minimal personalization. That was the reason I started using Moto, but OnePlus was better.
If I wanted pre-installed apps for every nonsense, I would have continued with Sony. (MI wasn't a thing back then and only Samsung gave it competition in the bloatware department).

But to be honest, I don't think Netflix was the work of Indian users. Anyways, the subscription costs are through the roof and not many want it anyways.
This is pure OnePlus tying up with Netflix to hype their display.
