That's exactly what I saw, nothing worked on OnePlus X except one way streaming. Try truedialer and see if it helps, like it helped me.

I think this bug should be considered for the next fix. Why do we have to install so many other apps to just play songs in the car?? It should work seamless out of the box.

These issues sound bad for me.
Just ordered the OPX and I'm a delivery driver and I rely on Google map and stream Google play through the bluetooth system in my '14 Ford transit.
It sounds like some of these problems are in cars with a navitainment system. I hope this is the case (no offence) as my van doesn't have one of those. Sorry that sounds selfish. But I'd be lost without the bluetooth functionality, literally & figuratively.
I use this app and have done for years now,

    Simple and very customisable.

My opx doesn't show song or track info either in my 2013 vw beetle. Phone book and calling all show up and works fine. Music plays you just can't see what's playing on the car stereo.
Everything works the way it should on my kenwood kdc-797.

Here is the answer from the Tech Support:

Good day! I am sad to say that you cannot view the tracks into the your car's stereo because the file really is not really from your car's stereo but from the phone you are using to connect. But still you can view the tracks on your phone of course.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best regards,

Of course the files are on the phone. But the phone is connected to the stereo via bluetooth and should display the track info, not only "E1003".
I had no problem on my old Nexus 5.
    Using Spotify on both devices.
It must be a software bug.

I couldn't agree more. I've just switched to a OPX from a Nexus 5 and I'm having real problems with Bluetooth car connectivity (complete opposite experience from my Nexus).

I do not get track names on my BMW, if I use a iPhone or a Samsung S6, I do get the track name. I used to get the track name from a OnePlus One before updated to the latest firmware.

    When will this be fixed?

I'm thinking it might be the "metadata" tags on the files themselves. You would have to edit your mp3's so all the fields are complete. My Pioneer touchscreen head-unit can't see some files either. Just depends on the file, but I usually switch up my playlist often so I won't go editing files. Would take eternity.

Got the same issue with my Parrot CK3100. BT connects but no contacts are being synced. This used to work on my OnePlus One running CM12.1.
CM12.1 had the annoying issue of switching off the Contact Sync tick in the BT settings, but flashed it anyway on my OnePlus X just to make it usable in the car.
