    BNSELIIM , Sep 12, 2018 :
suddenly, my phone started to lose connection with my car's infotainment system.

a couple of month back after an update the car ringtone stopped to ring when there is an incoming call. now i can play music, but i fail to receive calls on handsfree even it fails to call.

    Clear cache from recovery...
Clear cache and data from Bluetooth "app" from settings...
    Reset network settings...

Also if a smartphone can't do one thing it doesn't mean it's useless...

Reset the cars infotainment system so it forgets the phone. Do the same to the phones Bluetooth so it forgets the car. Then pair from scratch. I had same issue with my ford ranger. It was only when I reset the cars system did everything work properly

    No...
Next time reply to me not yourself ;)

    Just wait for OxygenOS 5.1.6...
It may fix your problem also as Bluetooth is a challenge for OOS 5.1.5 as of now ;)

I went into the cars setting and one option was to reset the whole system. Took a while to find it in the menu but it worked

Which Skoda to be precise? I am asking this because some models got the infotainment software update but that has nothing to do with the Bluetooth issue I guess.

This is definitely an issue with the device. I have OnePlus 5 and I have the same issue with the following cars; Altis, Q7, Honda City, i10. My friend has OnePlus 6 and he too faces Bluetooth issues in his car.
