    Dr Vipul Dutt, Sep 24, 2018 :
After update to Android 9 on my OP6, previously flawlessly working smartwatch and Bluetooth headphones are malfunctioning. Smartwatch is not showing call notification and headphones are not getting call outputs, whereas still working fine for listening music. Strange. Shall I change some settings. Kindly guide

Same here. My garmin vivoactive3 is also not pairing. Unpair and pair doesn't work. The phone does not even recognize the watch. On another phone immediately recognizes.

    Same problem here.

I solved it by deleting the cash from my Bluetooth service in app settings.
In the apps list you need to enable the system apps in order to see them.

    See screenshot

    Hi,

I try to do that but it doesn't work.

I still have problem to connect my Garmin Fénix 5 to my Phone.

My watch give the secret number to connect at phone, but the phone doesn't see my watch.

My last sync was the 22th september but after upgrade in pie no other sync and i have 2 activities to synchronise.

Edit : Ok that work but i reactive the research when the BT is off (sorry i don't know in english)

Sécurity & Lock Screen > Location > Scanning > Bluetooth Scannong "ON"

Hello all, I am having an issue with my Bluetooth connection ever since the upgrade to Android 9. It goes off while it's connected to my car and at the same time I can't connect it to my smart watch. I'm guessing I'm not the only facing the issues. My Bluetooth has been crashing too many times for my liking. Please advise!

I had connectivity issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth after the latest Pie Update (A5000_23_181205) on OnePlus5.
    My solution was to …
Settings > System > Rest Options > Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth > Reset Settings > PIN and Confirm
    Reboot

    Hope this helps.

Hi folks , I'm trying to pair my BT ear buds it's a new phone nothing has been paired but all I get is the swirl of death .
Wondering if the issue is a older platform from the ear buds ? If so I figured the BT would backwards compatible.
    Thanks for any insight

oops the insight was my stupidity I mistook the wrong mode on the earbuds all good ,my bad [e]1f601[/e]

    Hi Dr. ,

Could make out from your post that your BT option isn't working fine. This jam might be because of multi smart technologies being handled from a single device (your phone).

    No worries !

Request you to do the following for better results :

    > Switch off your device
    > Hold power & volume buttons down
    > Enter password
    > Choose English (preferable)
    > Choose wiping data & cache
    > Choose wiping and NOT DATA
    > Confirm "Yes"
    > Reboot your device now
    > Go to settings > storage and memory
    > Choose cached data (at the bottom)
    > Click 'Ok' to clear off cached data

P.S. : This will clear the hidden caches which act as junks in your device completely but your files or folders remains safe.

The above process will indefinitely solve your BT issue but if the issue persists still, submit your bug here.

    Thank you :)
