    Hi all

Has anyone encountered bluetooth issues with their one plus 8 pro?
I having bluetooth issues where my wireless earbuds will disconnect once in awhile for a few seconds.

P.S I tried resetting my connection settings but it still happened. Hoping someone can have a solution for this issue. Thanks all

To be fair I've never had an issue with Bluetooth earbuds. Only watches or smart bands

If you turn-off Bluetooth (on the phone) while you're not using it, it won't use any additional battery with the "App Optimization changes".
The "Sleep Standby Optimization" and "App Optimization" would have some effect; how much depends a LOT on your array of app(s), and how "well behaved" they are themselves, in terms of background processing.

I have literally zero Bluetooth issues with headsets and other audio (car, etc), but occasionally I have a problem with my cycling computer, or fitness watch, but those are occasional, at-best (Android 11 release fixed *almost* all of those).

I did notice the issues gets better after the update (less frequent) and after I did the above steps mentioned it did get slightly better.
It is much better than previously so I'm glad but hopefully it will be completely gone after a few days. Will keep you guys updated.
Anyway, thanks for your help so far, had been really insightful!
P.S have around 5 hours ish of screen time with 19% left so I guess its still acceptable.
