I connected the oneplus 6 to the car but the car stereo says I have no signal. I can receive calls but cannot make them whilst the vehicle is moving. I have tried re-pairing and when it comes on the phone logo is green and then turns red.

Have you checked to see if the car stereo system software is compatible with one running in the phone, this issue has been posted so many times.??

I got this issues sometimes with my op3... so it should be with some car brands (2013 - Kia)

When I had a 2008 car my last mobile( sam S7 wouldn't talk to the 2008 ford Bluetooth because it was much earlier version of bluetooth than the phone. My new car worked fine When I get my phone hopefully I will post it here if it works or not . Does it work with your Bluetooth earphone?

I had the same issue with my OP3 to my fiesta, all other handsets worked fine. I ended up taking to Ford and they did a compatibility update on the car stereo and it worked flawlessly afterwards, you might wanna give that a shot.

I'm having a similar issue when trying to connect to my 2012 Focus, except the the phone doesn't recognize the car's Bluetooth at all, and the car doesn't recognize the phone's BT, so I can't even pair them. For people saying it worked after you got a new car, that's pathetic. Buying a new car to have functioning bluetooth is not an option. Every phone I've had has worked perfectly with my car's bluetooth. The OnePlus 6 is the first phone to have issues. If this isn't fixed soon, I'll be returning/selling my OP6. Between this issue and the awful camera performance, the OP6 is turning out to be a disappointment.

My Car is a 2008 Audi A4 Avant, but 2018 Mercedes class A is a new Car!! Is it possible to be an OP6 software problem??

Based on how widespread the problem is, and the fact that I've never had BT issues with any other phone when connecting to my car, I'd say it's definitely a OP6 software issue. Hopefully, this means they'll be able to fix it, and soon. Using an AUX cord is annoying and a hassle. Feel like I just went back in time 10 years.

I purchased the OnePlus 6 on Saturday. Tried for several hours today to pair it to my Bluetooth car system Nissan Connect. It won't do it. I have been able to pair to my Bluetooth speaker. I have read the posts and other feedback and this would seem to be a known Bluetooth connectivity issue with OnePlus devices since early 2017 if not before. Is anyone aware as to whether it is being investigated and a fix being sought.

I've been able to connect my OP6 to my car however, it won't connect to my car if my Huawei Watch 2 is connected via Bluetooth (running latest Wear OS). Never had any issues with any previous phones since using Android Wear. Normally able to connect to both the car and watch simultaneously. To get it working with my car I'm having to manually disconnect the watch and then connect to the car which is a pain and completely silly.

I've used LG, Google and many many Samsung phones with the same setup for the last 2/3 years without any issues so it's definitely a OP6 software bug - hopefully they're able to fix it, especially with it having Bluetooth 5.0, there's no excuse because it definitely supports dual Bluetooth connections!

I have the exact same problem and music won't display the title or album art of songs currently playing. This wasn't an issue with my 5T.

Tested this on two cars both same issue.
