yes. we did
What was their feedback?
they will focus more on Bluetooth settings.
I have this exact same issue on my OP5T. Bluetooth connects no problem, I can stream music and receive calls but I'm unable to make calls if initiated through my Mazda 6's head unit. If I initiate the call directly from the phone, it dials out through the head unit and all is okay.
All worked fine until a recent Oxygen update - hope the Devs take note and sort this soon.
Oneplus just replied and said it will be fixed in next update. Please let them know if you have any problems still.
Just to gather all Bluetooth issues together:
I use old Nokia handsfree and OP6 connects well however it is not possible to control the phone with handsfree (there is one button to receive/stop call).
I had a similar issue with my vauxhall astra gtc 2014, I had to factory reset the Bluetooth settings in the car before it picked up
OnePlus small Notch design is good to market device for visual aspect but at user end it is not good because small speaker don't support stereo sound for voice chat and gaming mode. Apple design the product with it's user end experience. A cell cellphone user is always concerned with it speaker and audio output quality. OnePlus failed to meet expectations and focused their new Bluetooth headphones to be used and with this device. I am really disappointed with decision made by OnePlus to bring such nice device to bring in market with these drawbacks. Anyways I will give 8 out of 10 for this flagship device.
I have raised a ticket and yesterday the technical support person did a remote refresh on my phone. Still the problem remains the same.
I have the same issue. OnePlus 6 pairs with my 2018 Genesis G80, however after a minute or so my car's display screen shows that I have no cellular connection. Sometimes I can make and receive calls through the car other times it defaults back to the phone. Funny thing is my phone connects perfectly to my Asus Zenwatch 3. Its crazy!
I cant believe were having this issue again, so far this very same issue was present on the OP3T the OP5 and now the OP6, takes months for them to fix it. How do they keep having the same bug over and over on every device they release.
I have a Samsung Gear S watch and if it is connected to the phone the car will not connect, turn the watch off and the car immediately connects with full signal. If you turn the watch back on it also connects and both are fine.
Its almost as if if the car isn't the first bluetooth device to connect to the phone then its screwed.
Only ever happens with OP phones too.
I had Nokia 7 plus in 2 weeks and it also has same Bluetooth issue
I have the same problem with Ford Focus. Bluetooth connects with no problem, I can stream music and receive calls but I'm unable to make calls if initiated through my Ford's head unit. Hope they'll fix it soon
I have no problem initiating phone call from car bluetooth., when the car Bluetooth connects.
I am going to give that a try tonight when I get home. Sure hope it fixes the problem. Thanks!
