    G_Matthew_Tucci_odZp, Dec 10, 2018 :
I decided to pick up a tile for myself because I'm terrible at remembering where I leave things around the house.

trying to set up the device with my OnePlus 6 left me with constant errors and no connection. I thought perhaps I had a faulty unit so I returned the tile in exchange for another. same issue arose. I then attempted to connect it with my girlfriends Samsung Galaxy S7 and it worked without a hitch.

so I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue? is it a software problem with Bluetooth on the OP6? or could it be hardware? the thing is I have no issues connecting to wireless headphones or my car stereo.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

And thanks in advance to the Community for their help!

I have the same problem, it's known by Tile. Something incompatible with OP6 HW, with OP3 I had no problems

It worked fine on Oreo, doesn't work on Pie.

It probably could be fixed, if OnePlus put their mind to it...

Its a known issue with OP 5, 5t, 6, and 6t. The tile developers made a bug for it and the OnePlus development team deleted it. it's been months and doesn't even seem like OnePlus cares. I have a 6t and I've had other Bluetooth issues too.It affects most of the recent model tiles. This is just sad and be fixed with just software.

    Dear Sirs
Can you please resolve the software issue preventing me from connecting to my Tile Pro.
I have been told Tile resolved the issue but OnePlus are not interested in resolving it.
This needs addressing as I am not able to recommend OnePlus until I know the Bluetooth issue is resolved.
    Regards
    Michael

You all must not realize that no one from OnePlus monitors these forums and won't see your supposed issue.
Report it in the Feedback forum for them to see it.

It's in the support section, under complaints. There is no feedback section under the forums.

Hi everyone. I picked up a couple of Chipolo key tag devices last week and they work fine on the 6 & 6T. They are also substantially cheaper than Tile devices and have user replaceable batteries.

Physically, they're circular and a bit smaller than Tile devices. They don't feel quite as robust as my Tile Sports either, and the volume is a little lower than the Tile Sport too. However, I'm really pleased with them.
