    For me, after having 2 defective OPOs out of 3, I may have to skip buying until they have better QC.... but come on, you complaining about an invite? I got my invites from twitter and it took me just less than 30 minutes to find one before.

    I gave out 3 sharable invites today, bought my phone on one of the open sale days. Since I became a member I have received 3 invites from anonymous people with no solicitation on my part. It is NOT hard to get an invite.

    If you want a good product you will have to wait. There are restaurants where reservations have to be made months in advance. Also recently getting invites has been pretty easy. Just because you don't want to wait you can boycott it, but there are plenty others who will wait.

    The invite thing makes it harder, but you can get one if you want one. I even saw some on eBay for about $5 or something. If it's not worth it to you, then maybe you could get a different phone.

    It only took me a few hours to get one. Maybe I was lucky, and I was really happy to get one. :)

    There are threads about how to get an invite and the smart strategies to use. Honestly if you've gone months or weeks without an invite then you're not doing the right things to get one.

    When my invites come through (just got my opo today), I'll spread the love back to the forums with my invites if none of my friends want the invites.

    Invite system exists for reasons that have been already explained.
