    I have a OnePlus 8, a little over a year old.

I also have OnePlus buds, and some Jib BT buds as well and there is an issue with the connection where the audio will be playing as it should through the Bluetooth devices but said audio or video will pause, and all subsequent audio will play through the phone however phone calls will still play through the connected Bluetooth device.

I've reset phone, reset Bluetooth and network, disabled and re-enabled absolute volume, made sure audio setting on said Bluetooth is enabled, and cleared my cache on phone through bootup process. Not sure what else to do.

Also, I've noticed when watching videos on phone, it will occasionally pause and play through the other speaker as if on a phone call and sometimes when adjusting the volume then on it will show the option for a call as if in one, but I would not be in a call. May be related.

Photo attached demonstrates the call detection.

Do you have Alibaba installed on your phone?

I did, and I have promptly removed it because that response was very targeted haha. I'll see if I experience the issue from here on out, thanks for the advice!

I have had the same issues recently on my 8t. I uninstalled Alibaba, so we'll see....

Voilá! Uninstalling Alibaba gave me back my bluetooth audio. Hmmm. That's definitely a programming issue--or an invasive app.
