same issue. Some apps install while i am connected to a wifi and some apps install while i am using my data. Weird. You should fluctuate between wifi and data. It is annoying but it works.

I really hope Google comes up with a solution soon. OnePlus can't do anything in this regard. Google issues...

I sincerely doubt about it being a Google issue as many people who have clean flashed beta or did a factory reset seem to have no problem whatsoever.

I had this exact same problem on another phone after it updated to Nougat. Play store would work fine on WiFi but not on LTE. I'm not sure if I fixed it or an update the other company pushed fixed it. I first set up my phone without a sim card in it. That's when I started having trouble. I did a factory reset and made sure I had my sim card in when I went through set up. It worked after that. You could also go to cellular networks and toggle the 4g to 3G, then go open the play store, make sure it works on 3G and then go back and toggle back to 4G. It should continue to work. But that's a temporary fix.

Well this happened to me on a different phone. But no, I didn't mess with roaming. I just toggled from 4G to 3G, waited until I seen the H in the notification shade, then opened the play store, made sure it was working, then went back and toggled from 3G back to 4G AMD the play store would continue to work until I removed and reinserted the sim card. I didn't fool with anything else. But this was on a different phone I was using after it updated to Nougat. It is a phone problem. It's not a Google problem. I have 5 different phones and the Play Store was working fine with my sim on LTE in every phone but that one.

Meaning if your other is not op3 ....... make sense this is nougat native issue, which spreading randomly. Mine is on OB9 without this PlayStore problem.

It could be a Nougat problem. Not sure. I know it's a pain. My other phone got fixed with an update so your probably right. Until it got fixed I used the above temporary fix. The phone I was having a problem with was on Nougat but I also have a Honor 8 and 6p that was on Nougat and neither of those 2 phones had the Play Store LTE problem. So it's hard to say.

I also read the other day on the Nexus forums and someone was having this exact same problem with his 6p on Nougat. So it seems like a random problem and if it didn't turn into a big problem it'll probably never get fixed, whatever the fix is. I just couldn't figure out why my sim was working fine in my other phones, 3 of which are on Nougat, but not on the other one. I only had the Play store problem on that one phone. I could put my sim in my other phones and the Play Store worked properly.

My op3 is on 'leaked' OB9 and no PlayStore issues..... off course it's not nice openly suggesting other people to flash this version..

I guess since it's the beta version you can expect some bugs until the final stable official version releases

I had the same issue last night and this hint worked. I didn't understand the logic around this though. Kindly let me know.

    Thanks.

I was unable to download both on WiFi as well as mobile data. Only factory reset helps.
