    Harpreet541999 , May 22, 2019 :
Indian OnePlus 7 pro with model no. GM1911 and os version 9.5.3.GM21AA has this bug when there is a incoming call and it is received, the screen turns off even if the phone is not near the ear. The screen refuses to turn on unless the power key is pressed once. This happens each and every time when I receive calls and it is quite cumbersome because I need to put my phone on speaker mode and here the screen is off. Please fix this bug in the latest update. There needs to be some fine tuning done with the proximity sensor.

Facing the same issue myself. even tapping on the phone doesn't light up the display. only the power button brings it to life

surely it is not a feature..ok when you put it on the way the screen goes off as proximity sensor triggers that but when you take it off your ear and touch the screen it should light up.. now it only does that when one presses the power button

I dont think there is a proximity sensor on OP7 or Pro, they use a software based sensor for this.
