[BUG] Shelf weather problem Feb 29, 2016

    Hello. Recently I have noticed that weather information on shelf is not updated, even when I have turned on Wifi and GPS. I have to restart the phone to get it update. Please fix it, I really like the shelf features.

    Same here. Earlier there was an option somewhere to remove shelf altogether. Can't seem to find it any more after the two major updates...or am I missing something?

    At your main screen, push the screen- Settings-Shelf Enable/Disable self by slider

    I'm having the same issue here :(

    So it seems that the shelf is responsible for this behavior. I disabled and enabled it right now and it updated my weather.. Maybe it's just a matter of clearing shelf data?
    I'll keep you posted.

    After updates, all of my apps on shelf stop working. I added apps on shelf for easy use but I can't be able to open any app from shelf, its just become useless. Disappointed!

    On my OPX too. Every widget is no more working on shelf. I liked this feature so much. I hope they'll fix this.

    I'm hating shelf more and more. Mine won't update either... I finally got it to correct to the right measure (Fahrenheit) and correct city, but now it's trying to tell me it's 70 and cloudy when it's 28 and snowing... And yes, of course I know that it's correct when I open the browser but the whole point of the shelf widget is to be convenient...

    The problem I think is the launcher, I have done several tests, if one turns off the bar google, after a while the OPX goes crazy, the temporary solution is to install an older firmware, and wait out a version more recent, the OPX seems to me an excellent terminal, it hurts so bad SO

    The location for my shelf is wrong and there doesn't seem to be an option to change it. I have location tracking enabled for throughout the system, but it doesn't seem to register in shelf. Maybe because it's getting the location info from AccuWeather. The AccuWeather site seems to default to the hometown of my ISPs offices or something.

    Any way to change this, or should I just forget about shelf?

    You know, the very same bug is present in OxygenOS 2.1.4 for OPO and it is here to stay.

    mine too, but I can update it by clicking on it and manually refreshing the weather.
