[BUG] SMS reply starts new conversation Feb 9, 2016

    Hi

    Came across this bug, in the stock messenger app. When starting a new thread with someone when they reply it will start a new thread i.e. there will be two threads-one containing msg I sent and the other containing the person's reply.

    Others experience this?

    Related to the number recorded in contacts formatted like 0202233.... instead of +33202233...
    Just use Twitch contact formater and it will be gone in a sec.

    Why the hell are you using the stock messenger app??? :D Just kiddin'. In fact I thought I had experienced that when I realized that the the same contact had two different numbers and he was not always using the same to text me...

    It's just because your contact has two different numbers. Use this app to solve the issue https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=angel.twitch&hl=en just remember to run it from time to time in case you add a new contact. I always use international format

    Good point, just realised that Messenger is a Google app and not OnePlus'. So then it is down to Google to sort out.

    I don't understand what you mean, the contact (which wasn't saved-so was just a number) was the same in both threads. So they are both exactly the same 07XX... (I am in UK).
