Bought on 28th June, 8GB now this rubber is peeling off.
Take it to the service center and claim warranty.
1. Did your device come with marks of use?
So that's not a manufacuring defect.
2. Do a lot of users have same cosmetic damage?
So this is coming from the way you're using your device.
In all cases, this is the consequence of your using your device, not from manufacturing defect, so it won't be covered by warranty.
Of course you can ask for paid repair.
To me, it doesn't look like it's peeling away. Comparing with my OnePlus 6, I feel the rubber strip is protruding a bit more around the corners to prevent damage in case of a fall, as that is where most phones get damaged the most, in case of a fall along the frame.
I'm using this phone with case from Time i received i removed it to clean my phone then only i noticed.
sometimes ..it is called finishing. by the time everything will be fine no need to worry...I do had these kinda defect but it is just glue that was pasted by OnePlus during finishing . and will be disappear by time..
