By launching 3D touch Apple has killed "Flagship Killer 2016" in 2015 only

I watched Apple's announcement yesterday and there was nothing that would make me want to switch over from Andriod. A lot of what Apple launched yesterday was playing catch up to similar things already found in the Android universe in one variation or another.

However, if I were a fan of the Apple ecosystem, they certainly introduced enough which would make me want to stay. But at this point, I decided to leave the Apple ecosystem in 2012, and I haven't looked back yet.

OPO and the others like are so-called "flagship killers" not because they will always come out with the latest and hottest specs, but because they construct a decent device using decent kit at a price with a decent feature set that causes one to question the added benefit of buying premium brands for a higher price. That, in any market, is what kills flagships.

I don't buy into the hype of Android vs Apple. I think you can still like Android (and its vendors), yet recognise that Apple does many things well. They aren't in their position because they are rubbish. And you can equally recognise that in several ways, the Android ecosystem does many things well that Apple struggles with and plays catch up on. Just depends on what you are after.

Except it doesn't have wireless or quick charging, still 1GB of RAM?, no external memory, 12MP camera, no 2k or 4k screen, OIS on the 6s Plus only, going to go out on a limb and say same battery size as before 1810 and 2915 since they didn't mention it, and for those interested it has NFC but for Apple Pay only. All for a price starting at $650 for the 16GB 6s to $950 for the 128GB 6s Plus. Seems like a couple of the same complaints that people had about the OnePlus 2 would be complaints about the iPhone. Also wondering why they changed the name of Force Touch to 3D touch?

I will say that if you are surrounded by the Apple ecosystem or you want something very simple to use then the iPhone is a good choice for you because it will work seamlessly with your Mac stuff and most of the interface is simple but if you're not then there may be much better options out there for you.

I have the OP2 but the Note 5 is a fantastic device, there's Moto X Pure (or Style), LG 4, Huawei Mate S, Sony Xperia Z5, Nexbit Robin (Kickstarter), LG's 2015 Nexus and I'm super excited to see Huawei's Nexus coming soon. There are many more great devices out there, pick the one you really like for whatever reason and enjoy it :) Always remember to #NeverSettle for what you want for yourself, to each his/her own!

I have no idea why people pay so much money for iPhones. It's crazy . Flagship phone shouldn't cost more than $500-$600

Actually it shouldn't because it's using 7000 series Aluminum instead of 6000 series Aluminum. It's much stronger. Check this video out for proof.

How do you take down a flagship with a pea shooter? Patience, waiting for a crack in the armor and stopping at nothing until the ship is sunk.
The OPO, made that crack. Now it's up them and the rest of the industry to finish it off. One plus cannot do it alone but they certainly instilled a new culture that many other companies are following.
The new iPhone will have a brilliant camera. Personally, that means a lot to me, not a $1000 though. Outside of that, it's a turd. Too expensive and the walls in the garden seem to be constricting.

Just wondering where you heard of such laptops because I haven't heard of any laptops with strength sensing technology and I believe they chose measuring force because it's more realistic as opposed to measuring time.
