But are adapters, especially factory included ones, really that bad? Just keep it plugged in to your headphones all the time. Besides, there are splitter adapters that enable listening and charging at the same time. I've seen some on Gearbest for cheap.

You know what has always broken the most frequently in all the phones I had? Micro USB type B ports (now a non-issue thanks to type C) and the HEADPHONE JACK. It's just so fragile. FYI, I respect my electronics - I've never broken a screen in any smartphone - except for the original Galaxy S, but that was on purpose, because the fact that the headphone jack broke (for the 3rd time) pissed me off.

LOL I have a Bose Qc35, Beoplay H9i, and about 5 pair of bluetooth earbuds. I'm still mad they took away the headphone jack. I use a square reader that plugs directly into the 3.5mm jack. Now I can't use it anymore if I get the op6t. Also it's nice to be able to lay in hed and just plug a headphone in without messing with Bluetooth devices.

Good edit, £435 would mean a Polycarbanate phone that might break like a biscuit.;)

    £519 sounds about right,
    £200+ more than the MI8
More than twice the price of the Poco
About the same Price as the Mi8 EE( might be more by release)
    £150 more than the 16th
£110 less than the Note 9
    £60 more than a G7
    £30 less than a S9+
    £120 less than a iPhone 8 plus
    £21 less than a P20 pro
£16 more the the Vivo Nex S. ( starting at 128Gb)
£119 more than the Zen 5Z

Yep this one is going to be for the fans and not looking like a bang per buck device anymore.

OP are trying to find another dead zone to drop their phone into by moving the release date forward.

BTW I admit I was wrong about the Poco.
It is much more structurally sound than I thought.

Yeah I think about it and it does sound more right.

So the first device done right in a while?

Oct 17 is right around the corner.

Total OnePlus 6T Score ( From My Perspective* )

    The Waterdrop Notch - 3 Points. ( Still a Notch lol )
The In Display FP - 2 Points ( It may not be as fast as the current
    The Battery (Leak - 400mAh ) - 5 Points.

    Removing headphone Jack - 10 Points ( It's a Biggy for Me, Don't judge Me Nowwwww )

    So Total Points = 0

    Happy With My 5T

it will become difficultnfor OP atleast in India where other phones competing with OP will have headphone jack..n that will be end for OP in India ..

I still hope and wish that they do well ..but my mind is predicting totally opposite..

ya price bump is also there..

no headphone jack plus price bump plus no major internal specs change...no wireless charging no ip rating ...no dash or warp charge v 2.0 coming...Gosh...youtubers in India will have lots of points to not suggest 6t to their subscribers...
no matter how much u people support OnePlus but the 41% not using wireless earphones is going to cost 100% to OnePlus

IP ratings are the most useless things ever.

Even with an IP68 rating, there's a chance your phone will stop working properly. Water will cause corrosion, and your phone will not be sealed after a while.

They are never meant for underwater shots, and even with IP ratings, phone manufacturers will never cover water damage.
