After updating my oneplus 3 to oreo, the call audio has drastically reduced. It is very difficult to hear what the other person is speaking. Please fix this bug.

Its probably because of dust being accumulated on the ear piece grill overtime. Try cleaning the grill. It worked for me.

Its a hardware issue. The earpiece sounds low, due to accumulation of dust and moisture.

I went to Service centre, they charged me ₹ 470/- for cleaning. It fixed the issue.

Same here. Nor the toothbrush trick nor a cache wipe nor a factory reset solved the problem. The technical assistant kindly offered me to ask for a RMA, which is fine, but since it's a very common topic on this forum by bet it's not a hardware, but a software related problem. For example, WhatsApp audio calls sound louder.

I had a similar issue, funnily enough straight after cleaning my screen.
Cleaning the speaker grill with a toothbrush didn't seem to work. So I got the sim card removal tool and gently scraped the speaker grill clean. The call volume increased dramatically. I promise you, its just dust and grime build up.
