it is disabled after the update, go and enable it from dialer settings and it is pathetic that you guys can't check your own phone. first learn about your own device.

In some countries call record is hidden. Third party apps are the only way to solve the problem.

Unfortunately, joneplustools is working only temporarily. The call record option vanishes after a while so you'll have to check regularily whether or not it's still active.
    Same for the magisk module.

It's quite possible, but I haven't faced the problem you discribed at least for 6 months using the app and the record call every day...

Before 5.0.5 I also used call recording every day without any problems. I only had to enable it once using joneplustools and the settings persisted even reboots. But starting with 5.0.5 the call recorder gets disabled randomly.
I suspect this may be related to the country and/or provider you're logged in to.
Germany using Telekom and Eplus here.
Side note: call recording is legal in germany but you'll need your partner's consent.

I'm still using Open Beta 30 (It works perfectly) and not going to switch to stable branch until Android Pie.
    Russian Federation using Tele2/MegaFon.
Call recording is legal in my country but call record function was always hidden in settings and using jOne Plus Tools app was the only way to solve the issue.
