    There is a built in automatic call recorder to enable it open dialer app click on the 3 dots on the top right corner then click on settings & in that first option is call recording open it & tap on auto record calls.

    that's not true UK law doesn't forbid to record phone calls, but OnePlus still decided to switch this function off for UK customers

    In Europe, its an EU ruling, and the UK have not left the EU yet.

    yes it did, Following the outcome, the UK Parliament finally ratified the withdrawal agreement, and the UK left the EU at 11 p.m. GMT on 31 January 2020.

    Yes, however they are following EU rules currently until 31st Dec 2020 during the transition stage.

    UK membership of EU ended on 31 January 2020, beginning a period of transitional arrangements set to end on 31 December 2020.
