    I feel I have wasted money on 1+ NORD 2 after seeing the crappy Google dialer app as default app and one plus dialer discontinued and no call recording without that stupid voice telling both parties defeating the very purpose of it.

    Well, to be fair it's well known by now that they fully switched to Google's dialer and message app, starting with the original Nord and every phone that launched after. As for the call recording announcement, that's how Google made it to ensure privacy for both parties, you can take it up with them if you want.

    But most states are wrongly deactivated.

    When I bought the phone, call recording worked 👀

    👉I'm happy for my main phone brand *** 😀, which I use and has no restrictions or errors.
    For example, a non-functional hotspot 5 GHz, the possibility of copying part of the text in an SMS, call recording restrictions.
    I thought I would replace the NORD 2 5G with my original phone.
    NORD 2 5GbBut he stayed second 🙄
    At least for now...

    Thank you Oneplus and Google to protect the privacy of users from being secretly recorded against common etiquettes by announcing that a call is being recorded. I like the way it is and other useful features like spam call and nearby business caller ID. Thank you for not being a party to offer such secretive practices like unannounced call recording!

    Except for India and maybe a few states.

    Hotspot 5 GHz does not operate on 5 GHz in the European Union.

    Not when it comes to the phone app i think. Pretty sure Google's giving them no choice but to use them. Also pretty sure that they will become the default for other OEM's too. For example, s21 series from Samsung already launched with Google's phone app, although users can still use Samsung's own phone app. But the way i see it, it's the first step to making them the default there as well.
