    So I have the latest version of cyanogen xnph44s and supposedly the mic volume problem was fixed a while ago but I still have the problem. The person on the other end can't hear me. I tried changing the analog input mic vol from 84 to 92 but that didn't work either. Can somebody help?

    Make sure your caller is not hearing impaired.
    Clean out the microphones.
    I think there was a post on this having to do with an update fix.
    Not sure, but search it.

    Take any file manager capable of working with Root privileges. (Need Root)
    Search the file /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml.
    IMPORTANT !!! MAKE A COPY OF ORIGINAL FILE BEFORE EDIT !!!
    In file look for the line (look near the 571 line):
    <! - Analog output devices ->
    <path name = "ear">

    Found? So this mean we are in correct part of the file.
    You should see below
    <ctl name = "RX1 Digital Volume" value = "84">
    Change "84" to 90/95
    Profit :D
