Tokolozi , Jan 21, 2021 : do you have the back-up and storage management option enabled in an app like google photo's? In other words, can you still see your (deleted) photo under the "google photo's" app?

ghostofcain , Jan 21, 2021 : Actually it is, if an app is deleting your photos not using said app will remove the problem. That being said if you can see the photos in another app they aren't being deleted just removed from the app.
oldusername , Jan 22, 2021 : You have enabled a setting in Google photos app, to remove those photos uploaded in cloud from your gallery. Check your Google photos App settings.
