Hi there. I got a new OnePlus 6 phone and immediately discovered that there is a bug with camera, only in the video 1080p 60fps mode. There are 2 different screenshots, the first was made on the OnePlus 5T and the second on the OnePlus 6. As you can see the video on the OnePlus 6 is fuzzy and pixelated. So, is that a bug or a feature? :)

    Same problem with mine.
But if I record 4k 60fps it looks sharp. But the phone still battle with autofocus in 4k 60fps.

Do you have the latest open beta on the 5T? If so, maybe those camera improvements where made in video mode too. As you can see the image has more detail on the 5T screenshot than on the 6 screenshot.

Oh, and why didn't you take a screenshot of the recording on both?? why do you take a screenshot on the 5T whole recording and on the 6 of the view finder.

I had the same issue for which I went for a replacement, but the same problem was there in the later one as well. The videos captured at 1080p 60 fps looks utterly blurry , DOESN'T CAPTURE DETAILS, doesn't focus on object at all and focus keeps hunting. Its worse compared to that of OnePlus 3 .Videos on other resolutions are good enough.

this has been an issue with the camera and if you go through the lab reviews you will see almost every report point out this problem. I am not sure if OP has taken note and is going to fix this in their upcoming camera update which I think is in beta now.

I have tried the Google cam ports and they too seem have the same issue. Maybe the developers are focussing on the still camera for now.

I was hoping atleast one of the 1080p modes, front or the back of the video camera would give a clean and nice result but was rather disappointed. 4k is too heavy and jittery.

so its been a waiting game and if all fails then it is going to be my old Xiaomi 4x for the rescue.
