Shannonh205 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , May 20, 2022 : I have just installed the most recent software update on my phone, but now some of my icons are missing like the phone icon and camera. How can I get them back. I have no way of making calls from the phone now. Please help
TibiTibi , May 20, 2022 : Hello, What can you tell about your previous (before the update) apps like phone or camera. It was the stock/provided by OEM or did you replaced them by alternatives? Were that apps hidden before update?
Shannonh205 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , May 20, 2022 : Hi They were the apps installed from 1st purchase of the device. They were not hidden. Any idea on how to get them back?
TibiTibi , May 20, 2022 : Go to play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.dialer What do you see there?
Shannonh205 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , May 20, 2022 : Hi When I go to play store, it only has an option for, uninstall or open. When I click open it opens the app, but once exited I have to go back to play store to reopen. And if i uninstall it only gives me the option to update.
Shannonh205 , via OnePlus 9 Pro , May 20, 2022 : Hi No, no icons appear the app drawer for either app. I can only access the phone via the play store
TibiTibi , May 20, 2022 : Did you already heard about ADB commands? Maybe you can disable and enable again the missing apps. https://www.xda-developers.com/disable-system-app-bloatware-android/amp/
Swejuggalo , May 20, 2022 : Maybe try wiping cache of the launcher and reboot. Or maybe even data of it to reset it.
