    Praisejesus , May 1, 2020 :
The camera app gets blacked out when opened. And the display calibration is very bad, colours are pale and display looks over saturated.

Please fix these issues ASAP. Thankyou

Clear both the Camera App info Cache and App info Storage.

Set your disolay calibration to AMOLED Wide Gamut in Advanced and set the Cold Warm slider to your preference, see if they help.

Bad comparison, totally different optics, camera and software.

Try it with a GCam for OP6 see how that fares out, compare pictures taken with Gcam and the stock OnePlus camera.

Dev Marco Gcam integrated XML files for 6 series phones.

I have this one installed and it works very well.

    7.3_GCam_MJL_v4.1.1_Minilux.apk (marco, 2020-04-29, oneplus 6/6t, changelog)

The XML are integrated, so no additional files required.

So use AMOLED Wide Gamut in Advanced Display Calibration. Set the slider Cold, Warm to where you want it. Play with it, there are many options in there.

That may be down to your display, just means the camera is working well, but you need a different display calibration to view them on your phone.

Go to Settings >Display>Screen Calibration and set your calibration to what suits your screen viewing preference. You can play with the settings until you find the one that suits.

Just for reference, this is what I use on my 6T.

Then there is an issue with your phone, are you logged in as a Guest on the phone or with the main account if there is more than 2?

If as a guest account, some Settings may be disabled. Make sure you login to the phone with your main account.

All Settings should be available to you. Either something gas locked you out of those settings, maybe an app you have installed, or Android is not functioning correctly as you should have access to screen calibration. There are a few settings in there that can be adjusted to suit your viewing options.

Contact OnePlus directly to see why you cannot adjust those settings.

contact OnePlus support directly to see if they have more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for contact and online chat details.
