I think it is a tie between the CM FV-5. But does somebody agree with me that HDR looks horrible on the OnePlus One at least indoors?

We just need to get Color OS camera app into this fight cause that camera app - from what I have heard is unbeatable!

None of those camera app here can push down Color OS camera app from the throne!

I have FV-5 and I think it works better than CM in the dark.

CM can only beat FV-5 just because it supports RAW but still... CM is still too grainy.

With FV-5, I can even go down to 100 ISO indoor when it's really dark. You can never do that with CM cause they screw up the ISO function in CM. It requires higher amount of ISO in the dark in order to actually light up the picture than what it does with FV-5.

Google camera has nice food photos. Though I feel that FV-5 handles lighting best. Low and really bright it ends up better than the others. My unprofessional $0.02

Opo HDR works well in direct sunlight and object is dark in front of the sunlight.
It works better than the other apps.

I see these as very close. Until the other apps can save the RAW image, Cyanogen has the obvious advantage because of what you can do after the fact.

Of those four I prefer Google Camera, but I normally use Camera360. But really though, anything is going to be better than the stock CM app with its over-complicated menu system and fuzzy images.

For me, FV-5 is the default option. Primarily because of the spot metering/spot focus controls. It's a tool, and *how* you use that tool to solve problems is what makes it valuable. Would have to know the settings used on the four examples for any meaningful comparison for the way I use a camera app, but a useful and appreciated thread.

I think this comparison is completely wrong.. These all are close up shots... One shud try comparing shots taken from a normal /regular distance as well (like everyday shots) .
I have all these apps... N i have tried using them all for quite a long... I can easily say that CM cam sucks... While, from the other remaining 3 camera apps, Camera FV-5 excels.
Apart from the above 4 camera apps, recently my default camera app is Color OS camera app and I m loving it.
