It would be great if you could turn off the noise reduction when using the pro mode in the camera app. In low light, the algorithm gets a little bit too aggressive, making the images look "smudgy".

in low light conditions, you can reduce noise by lowering ISO, keeping the shutter 15 - 20 sec & it needs tripod as well.

you are wrong. ISO has everything to do with it. set your ISO to 100, increase the shutter time until you get your preferred lighting for the shot, and you'll see no noise reduction because there won't be much of it to be removed due to chosen settings. it goes without saying that if you increase the shutter time you'll need to have your phone completely still, either by attaching it to a tripod or just standing it against something.

    I agree 100% - with noise! :)

I would love to show you what the OnePlus 8 camera did ... beyond blurring - but I cant see where I can upload a photo to this thread.

Can someone tell me how that works?

I made 3 fotos from one moment. When I checked the fotos I saw this. I croped the fotos to not show there faces (privacy and such). All 3 fotos are in the one croped image. Enjoy the horror of these fotos. Needless to say the rest of the faces was like an oil painting. But interstingly mainly the faces and hair. The background did not look blurred/smeared as much.
