bought 7T anticipating that this phone will click superb pics but quite disappointed. In low light, the phone camera just gives up. pics are hazy and not sharp at all. you can easily see pixels on the pics.

even videos, you can see how badly it records videos.

and it's not really low low light but normal indoor light.

I have been playing around with the camera a lot today, and a few tips i can offer for low light pics are:

    1) make sure you are using the middle lens, (Zoom should be at 1x exactly) if you are using the telephoto (2x) or wide (.6x) the camera will struggle more in low light. the middle lens is the 48 megapixel lens that takes 12 megapixel photos by default, it is taking in 4x the amount of light and data the other lenses are and condensing it into a smaller photo that is supposed to be better. If you want to use it as an actual 48 megapixel camera, use the 'pro camera' mode, and choose jpg 48mp at the top of the screen instead of jpg or RAW.

    2) take photos in the 4:3 crop mode. this actually gives you the maximum resolution you can get. when you choose the full screen photo option, it will cut off parts of the photo. So, a photo that would have been 4000 pixels by 3000 pixels in "4:3" becomes 4000 pixels by 1800 pixels when you choose the full screen photo option.

    3) use 'Pro Camera' mode, shoot raw, and play around with the manual settings. such as manually setting ISO or shutter speed.

    hope that helps a bit.
