    Clear Camera App data and check if its not helping then install some 3rd party camera app and check if its working if they are also not working then its Hardware issue..

    if nothing is working then better to visit service center, but before doing that you can try with Factory Reset.

    I followed the below steps:
    1. clear camera app data and cache
    2. clear cache from setting->storage
    3. reboot
    4. clear cache again from setting->storage
    5. open camera

    it worked for me, what about you?

    I have same issue on my 5T. Camera does not work in every app that I've tried (camera app, messenger, camscanner). Tried wiping app and system caches several times but nothing helps.

    For some with not working camera or gallery--if you flashed the ROM through TWRP without properly wiping data and cache (swipe to factory reset), there is the possibility you have encrypted storage and don't realize it. It will probably manifest itself in other ways also, for example not seeing folders in the inbuilt file manager.

    hi friend. this is what exactly happened to me. actually first my camera was gone and i wiped cache/dalvik from TWRP and some of my files in downloads folder are suprusingly gone. i'm not concerning about my files but do you think this is related to camera problem?

    ps. i have tried unbrick tool but not worked also.
