I bought a Oneplus 8 and there is a dead pixel in the camera sensor. Is it an issue someone else has experienced? It is in every picture I take with the 48 megapixel lense.

That looks like dust or debris stuck inside the lens. A dead pixel would be a perfect shape.

I sent a service request. It's the Chinese model IN2010. Hopefully it will fall under warranty as I am in Canada. It's disappointing for such an expensive phone.

Okay......why the Chinese one though ? Couldnt get one from south of the border ?

Try lightly tapping the phone to see if you can dislodge the debris from the sensor / lens if OP says they won't honour warranty.

Any chance you can return it to the reseller or wherever you got it from ?
