    after the latest update the camera shutter sound despite disabling it, you get a sound while clicking. defeats the purpose of taking pics stealthily.

    I m on stable 9.0 and facing this issue. Shutter sound in all camera app like instagram and snapchat even if phone is on silent mode.

    Taking pictures "stealthily" is exactly why some countries disable the option to remove the shutter sound. That shit is creepy

    I think also India should "fix" it's conservative society. Indian government has laws to charge someone taking stealth photos. So I bet they made private agreement with some phone companies to prevent existing abuse of candid pictures. But the problem is societal... won't be solved by a patch in a software, that is so dumb.
    BTW iPhones have that too.
    One just needs to start a video and later extract pictures out of it. No sound and same result.

    I already reported a bug on this issue from my another account but i got no reply from OnePlus. But I'm sure they are working on it
