    A bug is something that doesn't work as intended.. Your sim card activates that feature, if you want to try remove sim card and reboot phone.. Sound gone?

    A bug is said to be in a code if something does not works as desired.
    If we double click on something and we want the text to be copied and this feature does not works as desired then it is said to have a bug.
    Probably you should have studied Computer Science at a better place.

    Because, in some countries the government has decided that the shutter sound can't be turned off so that people can't take candid pictures. This feature is activated by the sim card, so by removing the sim card you would see that this isn't a bug... It's by design

    We can turn it on and off. The functionality doesn't work as expected after turning off shutter sound.
    I haven't found this issue in one plus 6/6t mobile.This functionality perfectly working fine in one plus 6 / 6t mobile in India.
    It was working fine untill oxygen o.s upgrade in One plus 5t mobile.

    since i made an update of android 9.0 i am not able to turn off camera sounds. although i have turned it off from settings. but still the phone is ringing whenver i click the photo in silent and also in general mode.
