Just got my Champagne OPX and getting it setup. II did the latest OS update and everything set to be working fine so far

As we all know the default camera app doesn't have the option to save it to SD card. I tried other apps like open camera and camera mx.. Open camera fails to save photos to SD after I change the settings and camera mx saved it to SD card. But then when you open the pictures it scams the whole card which takes for ever.

So what do u guys do for Camera for the time being?, just use the default app till the SD card issue gets fixed?

Any other alternatives that is practical?

google camera you can use sd card, but really you should use internal storage because its faster and has less problems

I will wait for next release but a good choice is to get Camera ZOOM FX Premium on Amazon Underground for free.

i am using Camera MX but you can change the media manager from "Timeline" to "My Folders". From there it will just show the folders where the pictures are saved and it won't load up all the pictures like you said.

I am a newbie compared to most of the people on this forum. I have figured out a way to move pictures to the SD card. Take the picture close it out go into files hit recent click on the picture copy to clipboard close it out go back to files open up the SD card at the top you'll see the little clipboard click on it and it should put it into a file on your SD card. I haven't tried it yet using video but that will be my next test. I hope this helps.

Stock Android Lollipop does not allow you to save pics to SD card directly from camera. And that's because Google wants its pics app to save automatically to Cloud! All you need to do is go into file explorer, open Photos folder on the device and cut or copy all your pics from the folder and paste them on a folder in the SDCard. It's as simple as that. Hopefully the direct save functionality will be made available on Oxygen Marshmallow. I've encountered similar issue with BlackBerry and on my Nexus 7 before the latter was upgraded to Marshmallow.
