I'm not against your opinion but I do not agree with you at all. In some situations, ok (indoor situations with the people included) has a fake, unreal skin watercolor effect.
That's the only downside plus sometimes the portrait mode. it Reminds me what Samsung is doing with their cameras.
Nightscape is better than let's say the Pixel in most situations. Much brighter pics (except in totally dark conditions)
So yeah.. let's make a pressure on them.OP7 PRO IS SO CLOSE TO HAVE THE BEST CAMERA ON ANY SMARTPHONE BUT WE NEED MORE IMPROVEMENTS.
OnePlus, if you listening... you're so close now.[e]1f4aa[/e]
    Peace

If there is enough light/no movement yes, the camera works decently to well. Real.l world use is another thing. my trip to Bangkok is full of blurry photos. I'm pretty sure it's all software as the camera specs are amazing. I wish it would all tie in together. Peace out too.

Your reply makes sense to me. Not being 100% happy is not bad especially where the OP7P is wonderful I’m so many ways but clearly falls short in a very important aspect- the camera. Not entirely short, but in some fundamental quality aspects. Considered Huawei but far too much foreign government involved and risk to future AND cannot match the OP7P in non camera ways.

My iPhone is now only barely holding out and unless an update is upcoming from OP soon which remedies the remaining camera issues (shutter lag, sharpness, artifact anomalies and improved quality from telephoto/wide more in line with main camera) my default will be Samsung S10+ not perfect, but cannot part with £700 for a phone with a not bad camera. There is no reason why we should suffer that where Pixel can achieve it for much less.

Good response, I have tried all except the pixel. Ss was not a good experience, but the camera was good. Huawei honestly is true closest I've been to happiness, however their in screen thumb sensor (m20p) is terrible. mate 20 x is my fav but a big phone, same awesome camera. I switched from Huawei to cut my losses but I've soon realised that whoever wee change to someone is listening in; my ads correlate to my verbal discussions or emails. I bought the op7 based on YouTube aps, the camera I was was like an ip8/x. but apple let's not go there again

it would be also be interesting where our data goes with the op7pro.... I'm just a pleb so it doesn't matter.

the factory camera seems not to support keeping the torch on when we try to capture things in dark. we need to touch the screen over and over again to focus on the object otherwise we can't see it. can you add this feature?

this 9.5.7 update didn't do anything for my camera, I think my pics are worse overall. Every picture has a weird blur to it and low light performance makes it even worse. going to T-Mobile to see about swapping to an S10. Really wanted to stay with One Plus but I have zero brand loyalty and no working camera for months is unacceptable.

The camera is good on the S10. Am getting very similar photos to you on my op7 pro.

my wife has the S10 and our photos are so far apart in quality it's not even funny. She gets crystal clear pics of the exact same things and mine look like someone smeared grease on it and any bit of motion causes major grain/ghosting.

Spot on, when we were in Bali, the S10 and mate 20 pro gave the best shots. One guy had a op6 and it was ok. But this camera is the phones Achilles's heel. the YouTube reviews are not even close to what I'm getting in terms of quality. A tie in with a big camera brand to tune your photos would be a great idea.

I would have had some great pics of my kids but they are all unusable. The pics actually remind me of the quality I got on my original Droid slider phone back in the day. And there has been no response from One Plus, they just think 9.5.7 fixed everything and mine has seen zero improvement. I can understand a week to resolve a big camera bug and push out a fix but months with nothing working makes this one of my more regrettable purchases.

Let me start by saying the phone is great peace of hardware however tb software lacks the ability to utilise the great hardware. I have been a Samsung person then swapped over to huawei p30 pro. I have just got my first one plus 7 Pro and I have been very disappointed in th HD battery and camera so far especially the wide range camera the pictures come out washed out and a lot of noise. I hope the oneplus development team address this major issue.

Team, I am surprised no one else has raised this glitch till now. Please get this rectified in your next update, my sincere request.

what's wrong with portrait mode in the One Plus 7 Pro ??? Am literally pissed off with it. That's my favourite camera option and yet OP7 takes some bad photos. Why does it goto auto zoom when I switch to portrait mode ? there is no image stabilization nor the picture comes clear it's hazy.

Is everyone facing the same problem ? or it's just me ?

Please respond some one, I am hating this Portrait mode as I can take pics in only a zoomed way can't zoom out.
