Today I installed a new apk for camera which is of latest version 5.4.10.

Now when I am trying to open the camera, it's not working at all. Also, I tried to installed to older apk version for camera. I'm not able to install that as well as I'm getting error "App not installed" while installing the older apk. Please let me know which version was installed earlier and the steps for installing older apk.

Long-press camera app, App info, tap three-dot pattern on top right, uninstall updates. Next time, do not manually update the camera. Just because it has a higher number does NOT mean it's meant for your device...

Backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, AND then COMPLETE the NEXT steps below to Optimize the phone.

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

To Optimize the phone after a Reset, clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 2 to 3 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

I'm not satisfied with front camera of 8 Pro as it is not clear and getting more whitish when we take pictures in a room with a light. I cannot click pics of moving objects it is getting blurred. it is truely unacceptable for this price range.
please provide any tips or solution to get it better.

I'm sorry if this was inappropriate.
The update I received was long back, post update there existed no problem. From yesterday the front camere has stopped working. not really sure if this was because of the update.
I tried start camera in safe mode which did not help too.only thing I didn't do is factory reset. is there any other way that this can be fixed? Thank you so much for your time
