What device are you referring to?

Can you please share a sample that shows your issue?

Can you share a video where your issue can be perceptible?

I'm also moving your thread to OnePlus 6 general support.

Again, the camera shutter stays open for less time in super slow motion, so the image will always be slightly darker than in a regular camera mode.

Still, you can try sharing a video in daylight so people can pitch in.

That's probably due to the artificial lighting, which is usually what causes the flickering videos.

You can upload as an unlisted video on YouTube and share the link.

Will do and also take a slow motion outdoors in daylight.
But does your feedback mean that slow motion is useless indoors and can be used only outdoors

Can't really try to see if I have the same issue, considering I don't have a OnePlus 6, but there are anti-banding techniques to remove that effect, so maybe OnePlus can fix that via software.

Once you share the links I will forward this information to OnePlus.

    .
Also to mention while recording a slow motion the brightness dims to almost 50% in the video. I have deleted all the other ones I had as the results were very bad. Will take some more samples and share tomorrow

Try shooting in daytime with the curtains open.

What your seeing is a flicker caused by mains powered lightbulbs. The light pulses at 50hz which is too fast for our eyes to see, but when you slow down the footage by a factor of 16 (youtube says playback is at 30fps) you see a 3hz flicker(dims and brightens 3 times a second). Given the green-ish tint, the light it is probably a CFl (compact flourescent) bulb.

If you have to shoot indoors without any natural light try changing the bulbs to a high lumen rated LED bulbs (at least 1500 lumens, and preferably 6500k colour). LED bulbs run at a much higher frequency than CFl fixtures (usually about 40khz), and produce far more light per watt.
