Can any owners of the OnePlus 5T answer a brief question of mine? All my threads are being ignored.

Does your OnePlus 5T display have very noticeable blue light shift at slight angles? On a white background (like Reddit) it is extremely noticeable. I am contemplating returning my 5T and getting a replacement. But I cannot do that unless I'm sure this isn't a normal part of the display. Can I please get some answers? I'm running out of time.

Yes there is a color shift and even a rainbow effect on my device but not at the angles you'd normally use your device on. On slight angles, the display is perfectly fine.

i would say from perpendicular viewing I see a slight blue shift in color at about 45° and the rainbow at 85°- 88°

There is a little blue-orange shift (rainbow effect) while tilting screen up and down, it's normal for AMOLED panels. If you can try to record it and show us.
I'm highly sensible for such things and I'm sure that I see what you can see. Is it yours first Amoled device ?

What phone doesn't have a noticable tint shift at some angle? It's a screen dammit. Stop letting other morons create problems for you.

It has nothing to do with what anyone else said. In fact I'm the first person to have reported this it seems like. And I am someone that has used IPS displays for the last 5 years, where they are beautiful from normal viewing angles. I am seeing massive blue shift when viewing my 5T at very slight angles.

At what kind of angle? Like extremely small tilts?

I am having difficulty visualizing the angles your referring to. Can you please give me an explanation of how your getting these angles?

this is the feature of amoled screen which gives you that feeling of rainbow color. there is nothing wrong with your device and it would be foolishness to return it back. I would suggest to take it in the stride. Personally I feel that as long as the phone is working fine and that you can view the screen properly there is no need to return it back. again it's my personal opinion.

Okay. Maybe you have a problem there. Check it against your older phones and/or a friend's or family member's.

My entire post is based upon the fact that it is visible when viewing the display properly. I'm not like rotating the display sideways or anything I'm not even looking for it and I still see it all the time during normal usage.
