    So no matter which PC you plug into the OPO crashes the computer. Cool
    As usual preliminaries first what's you setup.

    When the phone is connected to the PC. Go into the settings and click storage settings. Click the 3 dot menu in the top right and click on USB computer connection. Make sure that MTP is enabled.

    It already worked a few months ago, my phone is rooted.
    I want a new ROM and i am trying to get my data of the phone. Currently it is almost full 3GB left, so it could take a while, and i if i would copy it over WIFI it would take about a week...

    I don't know about you, but that wont go to slow, if using N wireless at least.

    do you have USB (android) debugging selected in developer options? if, no, set it, plug in phone and wait a moment to see confirmation message on your phone. check "always" option and then "ok". this might help, if you haven't tried it yet.

    I have a AC Router that supports up to 750mbit/s but there are only 4mbyte/s coming to my pc.
    @Gonzo01 i did try that.
    Currently i am trying to copy in the teamwin recovery. It does not lock that bad here...

    that's also a solution to access your files. it might be bit slower than the "normal" way, but for sure better than over WIFI :)
