    Cmody , Nov 4, 2014 :
Not sure if its a bug in CM as have many friends using the same phone without any problems. And all users aren't affected by it either. I have read in a few forums that franco kernel resolves this issue so wanted to check if someone has first hand experience of the same as my issues started after upgrading to 38R.
Normally wouldn't want to mess around with the stock kernel but this issue is super irritating and i've tried all else including the patch provided by Oneplus yesterday - 23 hours no reboot ... and then BAM !! no hope from oneplus to solve this anymore.

My greater issue is the last time it rebooted it went into a boot loop - I then fixed that persist partition problem. Got corrupted again and wiped off all my data and factory reset the phone.
A few others have also reported this problem.

@matija646 - have you had any problems at all using franco kernel like the wifi issue highlighted by some members (thinking of flashing it to resolve my random reboot issue).

To be honest, I don't know, because I use mobile connection all the time
But those times when I connect to wifi, everything works fine, without any issues, disconnections, dropping out or so

Is that better or worse than r30? I'm on r30 and I typically get 28 hours with 6.5 hours SOT

It is. I'm looking at the content of the /proc/last_kmsg file after every random reboot, and it always have something to do with wifi. (I posted my setup here : https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/extract-last_kmsg-on-bootup-automateit-pro.158282/)

Have a look at this Jira, it has been fixed and will be part of the next OTA (I assume) :
    https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-1737

Check the comment of @cyanogen on October 23rd. EDIT: The comment in the jira link, above, made by Steve... just wanted to be clear.

I synced the CM11 nightly repo and also this kernel git https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_oneplus_msm8974

How can I create a boot, img from this kernel source given that the OPO is shipped with CM11S
