    They have a nice phone with cool specs, but Samsung and Apple have a better fanbase at the moment. I will be hard for OnePlus to beat these companies in the next years. But before we are talking about beating this companies, OnePlus has to start selling the One.

    It's going to make a dent in their marketplace, but it won't be comparable until it builds its brand recognition. This is a great start though.

    I am a big fan of samsung and this phone has won me over.
    I think most apple fans are a bit more 'religious' when it comes to their brand though and they often believe 'more expensive' = better quality. So I don't see them won over that easily.

    Not yet, But possibly in the future, they need way more than just "One" phone. They would need Tablets, Tvs, Set top boxes. The whole 9 yards.

    Oneplus One is already better than Apple iPhone 5s and Samsung Galaxy S5 in terms of hardware, software and price point. So spread the word to promote products and companies that would go out of their way to give us consumers an amazing value for money.

    The issue is not whether or not the phone is an all around better phone than those of apple and Samsung but whether or not people will take enough notice to actually push these competitors aside. Because let's be real. Apple smartphones are total crap. Same boring os over and over. Okay specs that are charged at ridiculous prices and aimed at the slower community to purchase them. Samsung is the only brand I think that can actually compete.

    Competition is good. The big guys (Apple, Samsung) need a little shake up. I'm liking the "price innovation" that we are seeing from OnePlus and Moto!

    I think that, unfortunately, many people will continue to buy that devices for many reasons as the name of the brands and their heritage or for the status that represent. Commonly, people dosen't know the spec of a device. They buy Iphone 5s, Samsung S5, Htc One... only because they dosent's know other alternatives.
    So i hope that OnePlus team will be able to shake the smartphone market demonstrating that a beautiful and powerful smartphone with a suitable price is possible.

    To me OPO has already won the battle. The fact a company thought it should make a phone with high end specs and make it as good/better than the competitor and then turn around and sell it to the public for half the price the competitor does is WIN WIN WIN! Once I buy the ONE and realize that I'm a genius for saving so much money while getting the greatest phone ever I'll never switch to another phone company again. You can take away my freedom but you can never take away my ONEplusONE!
