Can we expect "OK Oneplus" to be ported over to 12.1 and other CM based ROMs?

Just a question that popped in my head. I was wondering if anyone knowledgeable in the field would be able to tell me the possibility of a potential port. Specifically to 12.1. However, I think its more likely to arrive on 5.0.x cm based ROMs.

    Who cares?

Seriously though. Someone will do it.

I'm going over to a custom ROM this afternoon.

I've heard good things about Exodus.

I doubt it. It will surely be a proprietary component of Cyanogen OS. If not, we would have already seen it in CM12.

They need to open source their Commercial ROM for that. Which they haven't done till now.
And they are just going on giving lectures on open source.

i find it really intuitive if you have your smartphone sitting beside you but you're busy with your fingers and you can voice command your phone to set an alarm clock for example

Exodus is great. Although I'm slowly losing battery life since last couple updates

that's subjective. Motorola is a successful company that has a similar feature. If I’m driving or busy with my hands, it's safe to say "ok oneplus" rather than pick up my device.

It may be ported in the long run, but it will never work like the real deal (which will be implemented in the OS).

I have no problem with the feature, you can set it with the Google now launcher but suspending an OTA half way through rollout for what should have been a patch a week later is daft, as daft as saying 'OK Oneplus'

Just in case you didn't know, the one from the google now launcher does not work when the device is locked. They OK oneplus feature however does.

I think they should just added it to the google wakelock patch, but they're choice isn't entire bad.

I get that, I just feel they're trying to take credit for Google's hard work. Motorola had the courtesy to keep it Google. There is no way I'm saying ok oneplus, it's infantile. I'll clarify I'm not against the feature at all.
