Cannot read .zip in ADB Sideload

    Gensosan , Feb 17, 2017 :
    Hi there,

I have a problem with my 3T. I wanted to go back to stock by sideloading the current 4.0.3 version but it says cannot read .zip?! I renamed it and tried it another folder but that will not work either. A few days ago everything worked without complications. The device is available in ADB. Stock recovery is also installed.

    Thanks in advance!

    Could be a faulty download.
Download it again and try again

When in recovery, can you access the internal storage from your pc/laptop? (In TWRP I can, not sure in standard recovery). If yes, copy rom to your phone and install in recovery from local.

I don't know...maybe first through TWRP and then going back to stock will work.

Odd because when I tried it wouldn't work unless it was in that folder

I had the same issue. Opening the command prompt as administrator, navigating to the adb folder and executing the adb sideload command worked for me.

This can happen if you have opened the zip previous to side loading. Also, the zip names are too long usually, if you haven't opened it, try renaming to something short like OOS.zip or something like that to avoid problems.

the problem is with address space assigned to adb.exe

to solve this download LAA from Google and select adb.exe and after that your adbsideload starts to work fine.

website is techpowerup their you can find answer
