Gor. , Jan 22, 2022 : Hey there, Yes, it is designed to notify when recording is enabled due to privacy/ security reasons. If you ask, 'OnePlus should change this', no they can't because that's a Google feature on a Google designed Phone app. Nothing OnePlus can do.
