    wwegleitner , Jan 11, 2017 :
I have a very strange Problem with my OP3T on OOS 4.01:
I copied several Ringtones in the Ringtones Folder and several Notification sounds in the Notification folder. All of them are mp3 Files.

When i Open the sound settings and adjust ringtone there are only the OOS Ringtones. The op3t doesn't seem to Care about the Files in the folders.

    Someone else experiencing this?
    Please help!

Thank you very much for the Screenshot! It is a very very poor mistranslation in german for local ringtone = Standort Klingelton...

But there is No such Option for Notifications. See screenshot

    I've the same problem :(
Would like to define custom tones, but in Standard-Notifaction-Tone it is not possible.
Any chance to get in contact with the OnePlus Developers to fix this?

    edit:
I've OOS v4.0.1 on my phone

I do have such option and I am running 4.0.1

Maybe you could try having your music in the "Music" folder as I do, and changing system language to english, if it's other than english. Sounds like nonsense, but see if that works.

    Cheers :)

Had similar trouble. Found that .m4r files don't work. For me, mp3 or m4a works fine though. Oxygen OS 2.1.4

What app? I know my ringtones work, and I know how to set them, but my phone insists on using whatever is set as default for everyone.
