So I've been using my OP 9 Pro with no issue, but when I use bluetooth headphones on it while playing game, there is a significant sound delay between the device and the headphones, then I looked up for Google, nd there is a way to fix it, by changing bluetooth audio codec for less delay, but in OP 9 Pro it's greyed out saying that my device don't support it, even if I disconnect my headphones, I still can't change it, I'm running the latest update on OP 9 Pro, can someone help me out of this please?

In calls the delay usually is not noticed. Games it is since it's combined with visual ques.

HD audio and everything that increases the audio quality also increases lag. Some codecs like AptX aim to reduce latency. But for these there are licencing fees needed to be able to support them. Thus not all headphones do

Which Bluetooth headset are you using ?

BOTH devices need to support the codec, your phone won't be able to switch of there is no supported headset connected.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, I've checked it on google and it supports AAC, dunno about the device, but maybe it should since it's a new model from OP, nd I'm running the latest update on it.

The phone supports AAC, usually you can set this as well directly from the Bluetooth menu already for the headphones. (No need for dev. Options)

Remember though AAC increases lag. Since it focuses on quality.

I don't get any delay while calls, but I do get while playing game? Why though? There is an option called "HD Audio" but only for calls, etc, why can't it be applied for gaming?
Also in developer option, the toggle for "HD Audio" is greyed out too

You aren't getting this option when the Bluetooth device is connected
